Budakeszi Vadaspark

Budakeszi Vadaspark
Budakeszi . Central Hungary . Hungria

ocated about 6 miles (10 km) from the center of the city, the Budakeszi Vadaspark is a large protected forest in the Buda hills. It’s an out-of-town alternative to the zoo, with wild animals (rabbits, deer, foxes, wild boars, wolfs, brown bears, etc.) and farm animals (donkeys, goats, sheep, ducks, etc.) native to Europe and Hungary. There is a petting zoo, a lookout, a play area and several tracks ideal for hiking. The Budakeszi Vadaspark is a great program with kids. A fun way to get to the park is by taking the Children's Railway.

Getting to the Budakeszi Vadaspark: Take bus No. 22 from Széll Kálmán tér (formerly Moszkva tér) to Szanatórium utca. Or, if you opt to take the Children's Railway, start your tour at Széll Kálmán tér and take streetcar No. 61 to Városmajor. From here take the Cogwheel Railway to Széchenyi-hegy (Széchenyi Hill), the main Children's Railway station. Take the Children's Railway to Vadaspark.
