The campground in Ásbyrgi has places for 350 tents. No reservations can be made but large groups should contact the visitor centre prior to their arrival.

There is a section for campers and camping trailers, with access to electricity. There are 48 x 1500 w plugs and 16 x 900 W plugs on the camp site.

Toilets are located in the main service house next to the parking site and also in a smaller building at the far end of the campground.

Showers are located in the main service building next to the parking site at the campground.

A washing machine and a drying closet are located in the main service building at the camp site.

No designated cooking facilities are for campground visitors. Dish washing can be done in kitchen sinks next to the service buildings.
