This large contemporary art gallery and showroom, brimming with creativity, is dedicated to architecture and interior design. Exhibitions and multicultural events are held regularly. VAM's 'Design Museum' has a collection of accessories and furniture creations from movements like Art Nouveau, Bauhaus and Modernism with deigns by Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier, and Charles Eames, among others. Monthly exhibits showcase the works of European and Hungarian designers.

There are several artists studios onsite, along with a vast showroom where you can shop for one-of-a-kind, collectible home accessories and see the latest in contemporary furniture design.

Getting to VAM Design Center: VAM is located on Király utca, which begins near Deák Ferenc tér. Take any of the subways (M1, M2 or M3) to Deák tér and take the short walk over to VAM.
